Vision and strategy days

During our vision and strategy days, we work with the Digital Heroes team for three days on the future direction of DH electronics. To do this, we look at the current megatrends together and derive strategies and measures for our company from them. It is particularly important for us to have the entire team here and to include different perspectives and ideas. In this way, we ensure that all employees support the path we will take together in the coming years.

First and foremost, we want to continue to position ourselves strongly in the IoT area. With our IoT Gateway, we already offer a device that connects various devices to each other or to the cloud. It can be used as an IoT Gateway or Edge Computer and has a wide range of interfaces that can even be expanded if required. Thanks to the replaceable SOM, scalability is also a given, so that when requirements increase, for example in terms of storage capacity, only the computer module needs to be replaced. In the future, we want to offer additional digital services around the gateway. A working group will be considering this in the coming months. 

At the same time, the vision and strategy days are an ideal opportunity to meet and exchange ideas in person again. We have therefore included a supporting program with joint activities such as hiking followed by a refreshment stop, barbecues or the company run. In this way, we create space for exchange among colleagues, which is particularly important in times of remote work. Since we now also have some team members who work completely remotely, such team events are the perfect opportunity to get to know each other better. We are looking forward to three exciting days at the Labenbachhof Ruhpolding in the middle of the Chiemgau Alps.
