Modular system DHCON

With our modular system, individual embedded solutions can be realized quickly, easily and cost-effectively based on existing components. Especially for IoT gateways, often only a few changes are necessary to adapt our standard products ideally to the customer's requirements. For this, we can fall back on field-proven components and thus save time during development. Whether additional interfaces, individual printing or special software requirements: thanks to our modular system, we can quickly implement individual wishes. In addition, there are so-called extension modules, which serve as interface extensions of the IoT gateway both in the existing gateway and as a separate device in its own housing.

In addition to the IoT Gateways, our Human Machine Interfaces can also be adapted to individual requirements using a modular system. Customers can choose between variants with and without an anodized aluminum frame and freely select the System on Module used. The choice of SOM in particular allows maximum flexibility and scalability, as interfaces, computing power and GPU performance can be adapted according to current requirements. In combination with different installation and printing variants, this results in a wide range of possible applications for the DHMI family.

Partial and full development

As a specialist for individual embedded systems, we are happy to take on the complete development of customer-specific embedded devices and use the ideal coordination of our product families with each other for this. But even if we are not involved from A to Z, we are happy to contribute individual components for an application as long as the production is carried out by us. From the control of an application with the help of our SOMs to the operation of machines and systems with our Human Machine Interfaces to the networking of sensors, actuators and devices with the cloud by means of our IoT gateways, there are very different possibilities for this.

Prototyping

Prototyping is an important step on the way from the idea to the series product. Even if the concept and the circuit diagram may look promising, the functionality only becomes apparent in the practical test. At DH electronics we attach great importance to assembling prototypes as early as possible in order to test them extensively. This saves unnecessary additional costs and additional development time. For prototyping we are equipped with our own laboratory, where our employees realize first test setups.

Testing

DH electronics has been developing individual embedded systems for more than 30 years. For almost as long, we have also been involved in the planning and implementation of test benches with which our products are tested before delivery. Especially with System on Modules numerous interfaces have to be tested for their functionality. So that this does not have to be done manually, we develop the appropriate test bench for each newly developed product and thus ensure the functionality of the computer modules. In doing so, we combine know-how from hardware and software development as well as mechatronics in order to ideally plan and realize the test rigs.
