30 years of DH electronics

In 1991, our two CEOs Stefan Daxenberger and Helmut Henschke founded DH electronics. What started as a small start-up is now one of the 100 most innovative, medium-sized companies in Germany. We are proud of our TOP100 Innovator award and of the fact that today we employ more than 40 people as well as between five and eight working students, graduates and interns.

Stefan Daxenberger describes the journey with the company over the past 30 years like this:

"We were predominantly a service provider with DH electronics for the first 25 years, learning to listen and align ourselves with the needs of our customers. This was not always easy, but has helped shape us into what our customers appreciate about us today.
In the last 5 years, as part of the GEIDZ project (Together Successfully into the Future), we have now developed into a full-service provider with a greatly expanded, proprietary product portfolio and services. All our products are characterized by a high degree of customization, quality, 10 years minimum availability as well as best support and after-sales service. We are particularly proud of the fact that we deliberately produce in Germany and are still competitive in terms of price. For this we are also grateful to our EMS partner BMK Group from Augsburg for the now more than 20 years of successful cooperation! It is only thanks to the creativity, passion and commitment of our team that we were able to complete the transformation phase from a rather pure service provider to a solution provider in such a short time and so successfully. Our sales growth of over 17% last year is good evidence that we are on the right track and at the same time a high motivation for the future."

We held a small celebration with our Digital Heroes team and few partners to mark our 30th anniversary. After almost a year and a half of Pandemic, Social Distancing and Mobile Office, it was especially nice to get together with the whole team again. We are looking forward to the coming years and would like to take this opportunity to thank our Digital Heroes team as well as our customers, partners and suppliers for the good cooperation.
