Anonymous data collection

In principle, you can visit the non-personalised websites of DH electronics GmbH without telling us who you are. When you visit our website, the IP address currently used by your PC, the browser type and operating system of your PC, the website from which you visit us, the date, time and the websites you visit are logged. However, this does not allow us to draw any conclusions about personal data, nor is it intended to do so. This information is evaluated for statistical purposes. You remain anonymous as an individual user.

Personal data

Personal data is information that relates to your person. This includes information such as your name, address, postal address and telephone number. Information that cannot be directly linked to your real identity (such as the length of time you spend on the website or the number of users of the website) does not fall under this category. Personal data is only collected by DH electronics GmbH if you provide it to us voluntarily, for example when filling out a registration form or registering for personalised services. The data you enter in the form will only be stored for the respective purpose.

We reserve the right to pass on your data to other DH electronics GmbH companies, service partners or third parties commissioned by us to provide services to you, such as sending newsletters, in order to provide you with the best possible support. All service providers instructed and used for this purpose are of course subject to the legal requirements of data protection and have been carefully checked and selected. Your data will be used exclusively for the processing of the service for you and, if necessary, for the further support of the current contract and will not be used for other purposes. In the event of a justified request for information or data deletion, DH electronics GmbH will of course be prepared to assist you by additionally forwarding the request to the service provider on your behalf. Data will not be passed on to other third parties unless you have expressly consented to this.

Duration of storage

Personal data that has been communicated to us via our website is only stored until the purpose for fulfilling which it was entrusted to us has been fulfilled. As far as storage periods under commercial and tax law have to be observed, the duration of storage of certain data may be up to 10 years.

Your rights

If you no longer agree to the processing of your personal data or if the data has become incorrect, we will instruct the deletion, correction or blocking of your data in accordance with the legal requirements. Upon request, we will provide you with information free of charge about all personal data we have stored about you. If you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data, for information, correction, blocking or deletion of data, please contact DH electronics GmbH at dsb@dh-electronics.com or in writing.

When processing your personal data, the GDPR grants you certain rights as a website user:

1) Right of access by the data subject (Art. 15 GDPR):

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data relating to you is being processed; if this is the case, you have the right to be informed about this personal data and to receive the information listed in detail in Art. 15 of the GDPR.

2) Right to rectification and erasure ‘right to be forgotten’ (Art. 16 and 17 GDPR):

You have the right to request without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and, where applicable, the completion of incomplete personal data.

You also have the right to request that personal data concerning you be deleted without delay if one of the reasons listed in detail in Article 17 of the GDPR applies, e.g. if the data is no longer required for the purposes it was collected for.

3) Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR):

You have the right to request the restriction of processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 DSGVO applies, e.g. if you have objected to the processing, for the duration of any review.

4) Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR):

In certain cases, which are listed in detail in Art. 20 of the GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer of this data to a third party.

5) Right to object (Art. 21 DSGVO):

If data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f) DSGVO (data processing for the protection of legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Right to complain to a supervisory authority

Pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of data concerning you violates data protection provisions. The right of complaint can be asserted in particular before a supervisory authority in the member state of your place of residence, your place of work or the place of the suspected violation.

Use of "cookies"

"Cookies" are used on our pages. A cookie is a small data record that can be stored on your device. You can obtain information on this via the help function of the browser you are using. In addition, you can also delete cookies from your system at any time.

Use of Google Analytics with anonymisation function

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google", on our website. Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use

the site. The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, place and frequency of your visit to the website, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there.

We use Google Analytics with the addition "_gat._anonymizeIp" on our website. In this case, your IP address will already be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and thereby anonymised.
